Zoom has been granted access to a private iPad camera API, allowing it to use the camera during iPad Split View multitasking
A member of the Zoom Developer Forum reported earlier in February that the video conferencing site has access to the "com.apple.developer.avfoundation.multitasking-camera-access," or iPad Camera Multitasking entitlement.
Suppose a user switches a video conferencing app to Split view mode on an iPad. In that case, the video call will go dark because the app cannot access the camera when multitasking. Having access to this API will eliminate this limitation and give Zoom an upper hand over its rivals.
