Vin Diesel and Fast & Furious 9 prove their support for movie theatres in a new AMC exclusive trailer.

F9, the next addition in the high-octane car franchise, will see Diesel reprise his role as Dominic Toretto.

Dom's flawless domestic life will be disrupted by the arrival of his long-lost brother Jakob (John Cena), a mercenary with less than pure motives behind reuniting with his kin. In addition to the usual heart-pounding action sequences, Fast & Furious 9 will see Han (Sung Kang) make his long-awaited comeback for the first time since his presumed death in Fast & Furious 6.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating Fast & Furious 9, but it has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Justin Lin-directed film has been postponed back to this year from its original 2020 release date. Fast & Furious 9 is set to be released on June 25 in the hopes of restoring normalcy to the moviegoing experience. Although many blockbuster films have chosen to have simultaneous streaming/theatrical releases, Fast & Furious 9 is one of the notable exceptions, remaining devoted to theatres only.
