LOL
This is the day to release your inner kid and laugh your fears away. You can laugh aloud or giggle; in essence, you can do anything you want as long as you're laughing simultaneously.
The day serves as a reminder to look past our stressful lives and find something that makes us happy. The first World Laughter Day was held in Mumbai on May 10, 1998, founded by Dr Madan Kataria in 1995. It was a member of the global Laughter Yoga Movement that inspired him. This day's goal is to promote positivity and world peace. Through humour, the aim is to foster a feeling of connectedness. "When you laugh, you change and when you change, the world changes around you." Dr Kataria once said.
